The City of Mutare has procured three more refuse compactors bringing to four the number of refuse trucks procured in the month of september 2022.

The Local authority is making great strides in capacitating and retooling to improve refuse collection city wide through procuring the relevant machinery.

The coming in of the three brings to six the number of reliable refuse compactors in the city.

Ideally City of Mutare requires 12 reliable refuse compactors to fully and efficiently carry out refuse collection in the City.

The Acting Town Clerk Mr K.B Chafesuka is upbeat about the development.
