NATIONAL CLEAN UP CAMPAIGN 4 JULY 2025

City of Mutare participated in the monthly national clean-up campaign today. The main event was held at Bako Flea Market, where residents, councillors, and council management, led by the Town Clerk, Mr. K.B. Chafesuka, took part in cleaning the environment. Addressing participants at the main event, the Guest of Honour, who is also the Provincial Environmental Patron, Mrs Rosina Mugadza, emphasized the importance of unity in maintaining clean communities and that it is crucial to take pride in our environment.

Volunteers of all age groups, armed with brooms and trash bags, demonstrated a strong determination to make their city clean. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to organisations such as the Environmental Management Agency, NSSA, Mutare Teachers’ College, and First Class Academy for their participation in this commendable initiative.
