Councilor Simon Chabuka has been elected the new Mayor for City of Mutare and Councillor John Nyamhoka Deputy Mayor respectively during the special Council meeting which was held this afternoon.
They were elected unopposed during the process which was presided over by Acting Mutare DDC. The Acting Town Clerk Mrs Emmma Mandiziba together with managenent were also in attendance.
The election of the two folows the recall of Councilor Sophia R. Gwasira, Cloud Nengomasha and Simon Mapuvire
