Notice is hereby given to all residents and stakeholders of Mutare that Council is facing challenges to collect refuse and is behind in terms of collection schedule in most parts of the City due to the breakdown of refuse compactors.
we expect the the situation to normalize once the repairs of the grounded compactors are completed.
Meanwhile, we urge all residents to adhere to proper solid waste disposal and desist from dumping waste by the road side.
Council is making frantic efforts to restore normal refuse collection and adhere to the normal collection schedule.
