The City of Mutare has so far renovated 305 council rented houses that had developed infrastructural defects as part of the annual housing maintenance program.
Some of the council rented houses had developed infrastructural defects, which had become a danger to the sitting tenents.
Under the renovation exercise, the scope of work involves demolition of the existing infrastructure and reconstruct as well as installation of new toilet facilities.
