SAKUBVA URBAN REGENERATION

Plan Infrastructure Development (Pvt) Ltd. in partnership with City of Mutare and the Government of Zimbabwe

The Sakubva Urban Regeneration Project, one of the major projects proposed and approved by government of Zimbabwe. Urban regeneration is the redevelopment of dilapidated areas to clear out slums and create opportunities for higher class housing and business. Holding a National Project Status, this project is spearheaded by City of Mutare in partnership with Plan Infrastructure Development (Pvt) Ltd.

The aim is to improve the livelihood or ultimately the living standards of Mutare City’s oldest suburb, through phased destruction and eventually regeneration of residential flats, market stalls, public and social amenities. Plan Infrastructure has partnered with the Government of Zimbabwe, Mutare City Council and several investors to make the project a success.
