The dream is not only alive but is now a reality. Plans to turn the Sakubva Chisamba Ground new turf into a modern facility capable to host Division one matches is almost complete.
The facility is now calling for teams to test the workmanship.
Good news- This Thursday the 5th of October 2023, will mark the initial practice match between Mutare City and another team. This will be the first assessment of the turf.
In the world of Zimbabwean soccer, the legendary Moses Chunga and Eric Esam will be part of the initial assessment team.
